  PITTIE PARTY

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 19th

9am to 2pm

@ Humane Society of Harrisburg Area
7790 Grayson Road
Harrisburg, PA 17111

The Pittie Party celebrates the often misunderstood Pit Bull Breed. This breed makes up a large percentage of HSHA’s adoptable dog population so, we invite all animal lovers (and their leashed canine pals of all breeds) each year to join us for a free, fun-filled day celebrating breed equality. Visitors can enjoy vendors for pets and owners, food and drink, photo booth, costume contest, 50% off adoptable pitties, kids activities, and retail specials!

“HSHA works hard to advocate for the Pit Bull, as they truly make wonderful and loving companions,” said Kristi Kleinfelter, HSHA’s Adoption Center Team Leader.  “It’s important to show that the breed’s often incorrect reputation is primarily a result of human irresponsibility and to educate the public on humane pet ownership.”
